Manipur Elections 2022: Candidate list from Kangpokpi & Senapati districts

17 candidates will be in the fray for the 3 assembly constituencies in Kangpokpi district, while 12 candidates have filed their nominations for the 3 seats in Senapati District. With

17 candidates will be in the fray for the 3 assembly constituencies in Kangpokpi district, while 12 candidates have filed their nominations for the 3 seats in Senapati District.

With Kangpokpi voting in the first phase on February 28, eight candidates will be in the running for the 46-Saikul (ST) AC, including Lhingkim Haokip of the Congress, Seikholal Haokip of the NPP, Yamthong Haokip of the BJP, Ch. Ajang Khongsai of the JD(U), Jamchinlen Lunkim of the RPI (Athawale), Kimneo

Meanwhile, 3 candidates are in the fray for 50-Kangpokpi (ST) AC, including Nemcha Kipgen of the BJP, Ngamkhohen Kipgen of the Congress and Soshim Gurung, JD (U).

6 candidates are in the fray for 51-Saitu (ST) AC, including Lamtinthang Haokip of Congress, K. Lhouvum of NPP, Ngamthang Haokip of BJP, L. Johny Gangmei of JD (U), and 2 Independents, Haokholet Kipgen and Th. Sanglou Maram.

Meanwhile, 3 seats in Senapati District will go to polls in the second phase on March 5.

Candidates for 47-Karong include Yuh Jonathan Tao of the BJP, Khoho Siile Anthony of the NPF, sitting MLA D.D. Thaisii of the Congress, and 2 independent candidates, J. Kumo Sha and Thaiba Sanii.

3 candidates for 48-Mao (ST) AC, including sitting PHED Minister Losii Dikho of NPF, S. Alexander Maikho of BJP and Independent candidate Woba Joram.

4 candidates for the 49-Tadubi (ST) AC include sitting MLA and former Tribal Affairs minister N. Kayisii from the NPP, M. Francis Ngajokpa of the NPF, O. Lohrii of the BJP and Robert T. Maram, Independent.
