The Congress today released its manifesto for the crucial Manipur Assembly polls in the state this month.
In a manifesto which, Congress said will ensure the survival and revival of Manipur, the party promised 50 thousand jobs per year besides forming a Manipur regiment.

Besides this, Congress also promised to resolve the inter-state border dispute and press the Centre to resolve the international boundary issue with Myanmar if voted to power.
The manifesto also focuses on the diverse cultures of the state as it promises formulation of Manipur Cultural Diversity policy and Manipur Cultural University.
Speaking during the party’s manifesto release, Parliamentary Committee Chairman and senior election observer for AICC in Manipur, Jairam Ramesh mocked the BJP’s double engine government mantra stating that it has not ensured any development.
Ramesh asserted that the Manifesto is for the survival and revival of Manipur. Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live CLP leader Okram Ibobi Singh said the Congress will deliver on its promises.
