North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) convenor and Assam cabinet minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday attended the state BJP executive meeting in Karimganj.

Addressing the meeting in Karimganj of Barak Valley, Sarma spoke on the growing organizational power of the BJP in every part of Assam.

“In 2016, we couldn’t win a single seat in the Bodoland area. But today we have claimed victory in the BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region). We must thank all the BJP of Bodoland….The victory in Bodoland ensured that BJP will definitely form government in 2021,” Sarma said.
