Two more COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya have been declared recovered after they were found negative in the fresh test.

The two COVID-19 patients admitted at the Shillong Civil Hospital have tested negative in two consecutive tests done after 14 days of isolation.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma informed that the 11th patient active patient has also tested negative but a retest will be done before the person is declared recovered.

“The report of the 11th active #COVID__19 case has also come out negative. The retest report is awaited,” tweeted Conrad Sangma.

Earlier, 8 Covid patients from the state were declared recovered after they were found to be negative in the third test as well. This development brings down the total number of active cases in Meghalaya to 1.
