A sit-in protest staged by 183 candidates under the banner of Compassionate Victimized group of police department has intensified in Arunachal Pradesh. The protestors have decided to extend their protest by another week.

The group is alleging that the state police department has been ignoring them which is why they have decided to extend their protest.

State DGP RP Upadhyay spoke to Northeast Live and informed that he has written a letter to State Home Ministry asking for 50 fresh vacancies apart from 325 selected candidates. He also informed that medical tests of all those who have been selected is underway.

As per reports, Home Minister Bamang Felix would soon be meeting the 183 police compassionate victims.
