Meghalaya Man Mysteriously Goes Missing Inside Assam State Zoo

During a routine night patrol, zoo staff discovered a pair of shoes and a bag lying in the hilly area inside the zoo premises.

In a mysterious turn of events, a man from Meghalaya has gone missing inside the Assam State Zoo in Guwahati. The missing individual has been identified as BM Bothmit. He has been missing since Thursday evening.

According to inputs, Bothmit entered the zoo carrying a bag in the evening hours but did not exit, as per the visitor records. During a routine night patrol, zoo staff discovered a pair of shoes and a bag lying in the hilly area inside the zoo premises.

The alarming discovery triggered a full-scale search operation. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) and the Divisional Forest Officer are personally leading the search efforts. Multiple teams of police personnel and forest officials have been deployed across the zoo and the surrounding forested zones.

Search teams are combing every corner of the zoo and adjoining forest areas in an urgent effort to locate the missing man. Officials have yet to confirm any leads, and the search operation remains ongoing.
