Arunachal’s Doctor Couple, Minggam Pertin and Ashtomi Jamoh Pertin Wins Mr and Mrs Royal Global Married Couple 2025 in Mumbai

Their victory is more than just a title

Arunachal Chief Minister, Pema Khandu has congratulated doctor couple from the state, Dr Minggam Pertin and Dr Ashtomi Jamoh Pertin on being crowned Mr and Mrs Royal Global Married Couple 2025 at a contest held in Mumbai on June 22.

Chief Miinister,Khandu wrote on X,”Heartiest congratulations to Dr Minggam Pertin and Dr Ashtomi Jamoh Pertin on being crowned Mr and Mrs Royal Global Married Couple 2025. Their victory is more than just a title. It is a celebration of love, mutual respect, and the enduring strength of togetherness. While traditional beauty pageants celebrate individual talent and charm, platforms like married couple contests beautifully highlight the essence of marriage. I also deeply appreciate initiatives like the Arunachal Married Couple Show, which celebrate the love, support, and commitment that define married life It is inspiring to see celebrations that honour not just the individual but the partnership. The bond between two people who support each other, grow together, and continue to choose one another every single day.”

Dr Minggam is serving as assistant professor of physical medicine & rehabilitation at the TRIHMS, and is the general secretary of the Indian Medical Association’s Arunachal Pradesh chapter. His wife, Dr Asthomi, is an assistant professor in pharmacology. They hail from Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district.
Dr Ashtomi also won the title of ‘Mrs National Global Queen (Platinum Category)’ and the sub-title of ‘All-rounder Mrs Royal Global Queen-2025’, while Dr Minggam also won the ‘Mr Confident and Mr Royal Global King-2025’ awards.

The couple was also adjudged the Best Romantic Couple.
