Arunachal CM Unveils New Adventure Zone at Fong Fong Ma Falls to Boost Eco-Tourism

The new attraction, developed by the Public Works Department, Jang, promises a thrilling experience for tourists and adventure seekers alike.

In a major boost to eco-tourism and adventure tourism in Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday unveiled an adventure zone at the scenic Fong Fong Ma Falls, also popularly known as Jang Waterfall in Tawang.

The new attraction, developed by the Public Works Department, Jang, promises a thrilling experience for tourists and adventure seekers alike.

Taking to X post, CM Khandu stated that the Adventure Zone currently features:

  1. 410-meter Zipline offering breathtaking aerial views of the lush landscape, and
  2. 30-meter Giant Swing to give visitors an unforgettable adrenaline rush

The Chief Minister further stated that this is just the beginning, with several more exciting additions in the pipeline. These include A Glass Bridge, Bungee Jumping facilities, Water ponds and Additional visitor-friendly amenities.

CM Khandu emphasized that this initiative is part of the state’s broader vision to transform Fong Fong Ma Falls into a hub for eco-tourism, blending the serenity of nature with the thrill of adventure.

The initiative also aims to boost local employment and promote sustainable tourism by combining nature, culture, and adrenaline.

The project has already begun drawing positive attention from tourists and locals, signaling a promising future for adventure tourism in the Tawang district.
