Police Arrest Fiancé Sourav Rajpurohit in Assam Woman Shivali Kashyap’s Mysterious Death

Assam Shivali Kashyap: Shivali’s mortal remains are being brought back to Assam, and her family has demanded a thorough investigation.
Following the mysterious death of Assam girl Shivali Kashyap in Ahmedabad, police have arrested her fiancé Sourav Rajpurohit over the matter.
Shivali and Sourav had reportedly got engaged on August 1. According to Sourav, she had fallen from the roof of his residence.
However, the family of Shivali has accused Sourav of pushing her to death. Reports suggest that he was present when the incident occurred, raising further suspicion.
Shivali’s mortal remains are being brought back to Assam, and her family has demanded a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
It needs to be mentioned that, Shivali Kashyap, an interior designer from Nazira in Assam, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Ahmedabad’s Burdwan city on Tuesday night.
Shockingly, within the same 24-hour period, another young woman from Assam, Rosmita Hojai of Dima Hasao, was found dead along a riverbank in Uttarakhand. Her death too remains shrouded in mystery.
The two back-to-back deaths of Assam women in different states have sparked outrage across the state.
Meanwhile, Local organizations and political bodies in Dima Hasao are demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case, citing negligence and lack of national media coverage.
These twin tragedies have left families shattered and communities questioning the safety of women outside their home states. Calls are growing louder for justice, transparency, and national attention to ensure accountability and prevent such horrifying incidents from recurring.
