Vehicle Carrying 18 Tourists From Bengaluru Crashes Near Kalaktang in Arunachal; 6 Injured

In a tragic road accident, a vehicle carrying 18 tourists from Bengaluru met with an accident near Kalaktang in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng district on Sunday. Six tourists were injured in the accident.

Among the injured, an elderly woman, though sustaining only minor injuries, is reportedly facing difficulty while walking and requires help in moving.

The All Kalaktang Monpa Students’ Union, led by President Tenzin Norbu, responded swiftly and came to the aid of those injured. The Union facilitated the prompt transfer of the injured to the Kalaktang Community Health Centre for necessary medical attention.

Local MLA Tsetan Chombay extended his full support, ensuring that further help and arrangements were in place for the injured tourists.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and have assured that all necessary assistance is provided to the victims.
