Arunachal Sees Major Infrastructure Boost with 21 Projects Inaugurated Under BRO

Arunachal Pradesh received a major infrastructure boost with the inauguration of 21 out of 50 Border Roads Organisation (BRO) projects across six states and two Union Territories.
The 21 projects in Arunachal include four roads and 17 bridges, executed under four BRO initiatives: Project Vartak (7 projects), Project Arunank (4), Project Brahmank (6), and Project Udayak (4). These strategic projects aim to significantly enhance border infrastructure and improve connectivity in remote regions.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the projects during the BRO Day Celebrations 2025, with Arunachal CM Pema Khandu virtually joining the event.
CM Khandu lauded the BRO’s dedication on social media, stating the projects will have a transformative impact. He thanked Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and saluted the BRO India for their unwavering commitment to national development and security.
