Mizoram CM Lalduhoma emphasised the importance of Operation Sindoor as a strong message to those who threaten India’s sovereignty

As the echoes of Operation Sindoor continue to stir the nation, fresh voices of solidarity have emerged from Mizoram and Nagaland. Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio sent out firm messages of unity, patriotism, and unwavering support for India’s military strike on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK on Wednesday.

Taking to X, both leaders hailed the decisive action taken by the Indian Armed Forces and extended their heartfelt appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisive leadership.

Mizoram CM Lalduhoma emphasised the importance of Operation Sindoor as a strong message to those who threaten India’s sovereignty.

He praised the bravery of the armed forces and the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaffirming Mizoram’s unwavering commitment to the fight against terrorism.

Operation Sindoor is a resolute message to those who dare challenge our nation’s sovereignty. I salute the bravery of our armed forces and commend Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji for his decisive leadership. India stands united against terrorism,” CM Laduhoma tweeted.

Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio expressed his solidarity with the government and the military while reiterating Nagaland’s commitment to peace and security.

“We stand with the Government of India in its decisive action against terrorism and support the objectives of Operation Sindoor. We firmly oppose terrorism in all its forms, and extend our prayers and best wishes to all those working for peace and security of the country,” CM Rio tweeted.

Their messages come in the wake of strong support from other Northeast Chief Ministers who expressed their solidarity with the nation’s efforts to combat terrorism.

Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, Former Manipur CM N. Biren Singh, Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang, and Tripura CM Manik Saha had previously voiced their full backing for the operation, collectively reinforcing the resolve of India’s Northeast in fighting against terror.

The Indian Armed Forces destroyed 9 terror camps in Pakistan and PoK to rubble under ‘Operation Sindoor’ at midnight on Wednesday in response to the Pahalgam terror attack that claims lives of 26 Indian civilians.

The strikes came just hours ahead of a nationwide civil defence mock drill across 244 districts, signaling heightened preparedness amid ongoing threats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed to hunt down the perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack “to the ends of the earth” and deliver punishment “beyond their imagination.”

Planned over two weeks, Operation Sindoor was a precision strike designed to cripple Pakistan-based terror networks while avoiding military installations and civilian casualties. The 25-minute surgical offensive has sent a clear message: India will not tolerate terror on its soil.
