Impressively, Cynthia also topped the HSLC exams previously. In Commerce, Kristin Laldinpuii Ralte from Oikos Higher Secondary School emerged as the topper with 470 marks.

Stream-wise pass percentages were also encouraging: Science at 85.63%, Arts at 80.13%, and Commerce at 74.42%. Both Science and Arts streams showed improvement, boosting the overall pass rate.

The 2025 examination papers maintained a balanced approach, comprising 50–60% Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and 40–50% Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Looking ahead, MBSE intends to increase the HOTS component to enhance critical thinking.
