Meghalaya Class 12 Results Declared with 82.09% Overall Pass Percentage

Meghalaya Class 12 Results: In the Arts stream, 22,835 students appeared, and 18,736 passed, marking a pass percentage of 82.05%

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) declared the Class XII results for the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams on Monday. A total of 29,278 students appeared for the examinations this year, and 24,039 of them passed, registering an impressive overall pass percentage of 82.09%.

In the Arts stream, 22,835 students appeared, and 18,736 passed, marking a pass percentage of 82.05%. The Science stream saw 3,922 candidates, out of which 3,253 cleared the exams, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.94%. In the Commerce stream, 2,501 students appeared, and 2,033 passed, recording a pass percentage of 81.28%. Though the Vocational stream had only 20 candidates, 17 of them passed, achieving the highest stream-wise pass percentage of 85%.

In the Arts stream, Albert Mate and Idawanplishisha Swer, both from St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, jointly secured the first position with 455 marks each. Nelly Mary Khymdeit from St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Nongpoh, bagged the second position, while Safilia Wahlang from St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, secured the third position.

In the Science stream, Saptarshi Bhattacharjee from Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Shillong, topped with 483 marks. Drishana Roychoudhury and Shweta Sarma, both from St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, followed in second and third positions, respectively.

In the Commerce stream, Disha Chokhani of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, led the stream by scoring 481 marks. Nishan Talukdar and Dipankar Barua, both from Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Shillong, secured the second and third positions.
