Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla Chairs High-Level Security Meeting in Imphal

The Governor and officials assessed the current security scenario and strategized coordinated measures to restore peace across the state.
Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla chaired a high-level security meeting to review the prevailing law and order situation in the state.
Top security and administrative officials attended the meeting, including Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh, Director General of Police Rajiv Singh, GOC 57 Mountain Division Maj. Gen. S.S. Kartikeya, ADGP (Intelligence) Ashutosh Kumar Sinha, ADGP (Law and Order) Lupheng Kailun, and Joint Director of the SIB Navdeep Singh Grewal. Representatives from the CRPF and BSF also took part in the discussion held in Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
Chief Secretary P.K. Singh, Commissioner (Home) N. Ashok Kumar, GOC 3 Corps Lt. Gen. Abhijit S. Pendharkar, IG Assam Rifles (South) Maj. Gen. Ravroop Singh, and IGAR (East) Maj. Gen. Suresh Kumar Bhambhu joined the meeting virtually via video conference.
The Governor and officials assessed the current security scenario and strategized coordinated measures to restore peace and maintain stability across the state. They discussed deployment patterns, intelligence-sharing mechanisms, and inter-agency coordination to effectively address the ongoing challenges.
