Arunachal’s Braveheart Corporal Tage Hailyang Among 28 Killed in Pahalgam Terror Attack

Pahalgam Terror Attac: Corporal Hailyang was visiting the popular tourist destination with his wife, who survived the deadly incident.
In a tragic terror attack that shook the nation, Indian Air Force Corporal Tage Hailyang, a native of Tajang village in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, among the 28 people killed in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.
Corporal Hailyang was visiting the popular tourist destination with his wife, who miraculously survived the deadly incident.
The brutal killing of Corporal Hailyang, who served his country with courage and honour, has plunged Arunachal Pradesh into mourning. Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his grief, saying, “Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang of the Indian Air Force, a brave son of Arunachal Pradesh. While visiting Pahalgam with his wife, his life was cruelly taken in a senseless act of terror.”
He added, “His untimely death is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire country. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, especially his wife who survived this horrific incident.”
According to reports, the serene tourist spot turned into a nightmare as 6 heavily armed men opened indiscriminate fire on tourists.
The attackers were said to be equipped with US-made M4 carbines and AK-47/56 rifles.
The Resistance Front (TRF) linked to Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed’s Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has taken responsibility for of ghastly attack on terrorists.
The attack, which claimed the lives of numerous innocent civilians, has drawn sharp condemnation from across the country. Security forces have launched an intensive manhunt to trace the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the nation mourns the loss of Bravehearts like Corporal Hailyang, whose dedication to service remains a shining example of patriotism and sacrifice.
