3 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in Meghalaya for Illegally Trying to Enter India Territory

The arrested individuals are residents of Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh.
Continuing its crackdown on border infiltration in Meghalaya, vigilant troops of the 4th Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya apprehended 3 Bangladeshi nationals along with an Indian tout today.
The arrests took place in the East Khasi Hills district as the Bangladeshi nationals attempted to cross the international border illegally.
The arrested individuals are residents of Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, BSF personnel swiftly intercepted a Swift Dzire vehicle in the bordering area of Umsyiem. The timely operation led to the capture of the infiltrators and their Indian accomplice.
The seized vehicle and the apprehended individuals, including the Indian driver, have been handed over to Pynursla Police Station for further legal proceedings.
