Advantage Assam 2.0: 32 MoUs Worth Over Rs 121 Crore Signed in Sribhumi

As part of the ongoing Advantage Assam 2.0 investment summit, the Sribhumi District Administration has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth over Rs 121 crore with private investors. A total of 32 MoUs were executed, which will be processed through a single-window system, reinforcing the state’s commitment to ease of doing business.

The agreements span various sectors, including aerated drinks and snacks, tile manufacturing, food and beverages, mines and mineral exports, and wooden furniture production, highlighting the district’s growing industrial potential.

Addressing the investors, District Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, IAS, welcomed entrepreneurs and assured them of full administrative support under the state’s Industrial Policy. He encouraged emerging businesses to leverage this momentum to transform the region’s industrial landscape.

Commissioner Dwivedi also highlighted ongoing improvements in power infrastructure, with new substations set to be established soon. Additionally, the administration plans to hold regular bi-party meetings with financial institutions to address banking-related hurdles.

Reaffirming the district’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, Dwivedi assured investors that all necessary support will be provided to drive industrial growth and economic development in Sribhumi.
