Over 3 Lakh Students Appear For Assam Higher Secondary Final Examinations

The AHSEC has urged students to follow examination guidelines and maintain discipline to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams.

A total of 3,06,925 students are appearing for the Assam Higher Secondary Final Examination, conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), which began today.

The examinations are being held at 856 designated centres across the state under strict security measures to ensure a fair and smooth process.

To ensure fairness and transparency, all examination centres are under CCTV surveillance, with real-time monitoring from a special control room set up by the education board.

The Arts stream has the highest number of examinees at 2,30,091, followed by Science with 57,724, and Commerce with 17,869 candidates.

Of the total number of candidates, 1,62,423 are female candidates, while 1,44,502 are male candidates.

The AHSEC has urged students to follow examination guidelines and maintain discipline to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams.

Extending best wishes to the examinees, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a message to the candidates said, “Have a calm mind and give your best shot. Good luck!”
