40,461 students take HSSLC and HSLC Exams in Nagaland

The HSSLC Examination 2025 commenced today across 68 examination centres, with 17,194 candidates appearing.

A total of 40,461 students will appear for the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations in Nagaland, conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE).

The HSSLC Examination 2025 commenced today across 68 examination centres, with 17,194 candidates appearing, including 546 compartmental candidates across various streams.

Meanwhile, the HSLC Examination is set to begin tomorrow, with 23,267 students including 22,310 main examination candidates and 957 compartmental candidates taking part.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended his best wishes to all students appearing for the exams, encouraging them to stay focused and work hard.

“I extend my best wishes to the 40,461 students who will be taking the HSLC and HSSLC exams. May your dedication, hard work, and focus bring great success. My prayers for good health and peace,” CM Rio tweeted.

He also wished the NBSE a smooth and successful conduct of the examinations.
