CM Biren announced plans to build mushroom sheds for them in the relief camps
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh distributed certificates to 28 candidates trained under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) during a program held at the CM Secretariat on Friday.
During the event, the Chief Minister lauded the efforts and commitment of the candidates, who successfully completed their training under the CSCM component of PMKVY 4.0 Special Project. He said that this initiative, spearheaded by the Manipur Seva Samiti and the Humanism Foundation, serves as a “beacon of hope” for the internally displaced people in Bishnupur and Imphal East districts.
Encouraging the trained candidates, CM Biren announced plans to build mushroom sheds for them in the relief camps. This infrastructure, he noted, would empower them to apply their skills and create sustainable livelihoods.
“The dedication and resilience shown by these candidates are truly commendable,” said CM Biren. “Through their hard work and the support of the organizations involved, we are paving the way for a brighter future for our displaced brothers and sisters.”
