In a sensational incident, a girl has been stabbed by unknown miscreants in broad daylight in Guwahati’s Hatigaon area succumbs to her injuries in GMCH today.
As per witnesses, the victim, who suffered grievous injuries in her neck, abdomen, and hand, was stabbed by an unknown miscreant.
The woman, identified as Mousumi Gogoi, hails from Dibrugarh and works for an NGO in Guwahati. She was waiting for a Rapido ride when the attack took place.
As per reports, the attacker arrived in a Swift Desire car nd stabbed hee.
Preliminary investigations suggest the possibility of a love-angle behind the attack.
Police have already swung into action to probe the incident and nab the miscreants.
