Adong Jamatia, recently crowned Mister International India 2024, is set to represent the country at the Mister International competition in the Philippines.
This honor follows his victory in the Mega Mister North East title by Mega Entertainment which showcased his charisma, fitness, and dedication to social causes.
Adong Jamatia, hailing from Tripura, is set to represent India at the 16th Mister International 2024 in Cebu, Philippines, which will be held from November 2 to 11.
As he prepares for the global stage, Adong stands as a symbol of Tripura’s rich cultural heritage and the northeastern region’s vibrant spirit.
Having clinched titles such as Mega Mister Northeast 2022 and Mister International India 2024, Adong is not just a model but a symbol of resilience and determination.
It needs to be mentioned that, 22-year-old Adong is only the competitor to represent India at the 16th Mister International 2024.
Before he departed from Agartala, Adong shared insights into his transformative journey with North East Live. The COVID-19 pandemic sparked a profound change in him, leading him to embrace fitness and healthy living. Coming from a middle-class background, with his father as the sole earning member working as a junior engineer, Adong emphasizes the importance of hard work, discipline, and a balanced lifestyle.
Addressing the pressing issues of drug abuse and rising AIDS cases in the region, Adong encourages the youth to pursue their passions. He stated, “Focus on what you love and give it your all. Success will follow.” His message serves as an inspiration, urging young people to choose positive paths over destructive habits. As he embarks on this international stage, Adong Jamatia stands as a beacon of hope for many.
