The situation at Manipur University continues to be tense even as new developments continue to take place.

Students on Monday protested in front of the university’s Physics Department demanding an audience with Vice Chancellor in-charge Professor Yugindro Singh.

The students earlier wanted to meet the VC in-charge who also happens to be a faculty of the physics department.

After Singh refused to meet anybody, the irate students set down at the steps of the department and staged a protest holding placards and raising slogans.
