Assam: Mentally Challenged Man Stabs Parents to Desth, Livestreams Act on Facebook

The man reportedly killed his aged parents with a machete.

In a shocking and gruesome incident, a 37-year-old mentally challenged man stabbed his parents to death in Karimganj district of Assam, streaming the horrific act live on Facebook.

The man reportedly killed his aged parents with a machete.

The incident took place around 2:30 pm on Sunday, said a senior officer of Nilam Bazar Police Station.

Following the incident, police have arrested the man and registered a case against him.

Initial investigations suggest that the man is not mentally stable, said police.

Further investigation is underway.
