Arunachal: 37 private schools running illegally should be shut: Anti-Corruption Foundation

The Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF)’s Itanagar Unit has demanded the closure of these schools at the earliest.
The Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF) Itanagar Unit in Arunachal Pradesh has alleged that as many as 37 private schools in the Itanagar Capital Region have been operating without proper authorization and documentation as mandated by government regulations.
The 37 private schools are:

18.Kidzee Kids Angel School

In a letter addressed to Director of Elementary Education in Itanagar, Marken Kadu, the Anti-Corruption Foundation’s Itanagar unit said that these 37 unrecognized private schools are illegally functioning without any government registration or the recommendation letter from the government to run new schools, which is a violation of rules set forth by the government and this may be interpreted as a major criminal offence and an act of corruption.
The schools also did not have No Objection Certificates (NOCs), Land Possession Certificates (LPCs) or lease agreements, fire safety certifications, and CCTV installation approvals, the letter said.
The Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF) Itanagar Unit urged the early intervention of the Papum Pare district authority into the matter and demanded the immediate closure of these schools.
