I applaud the overwhelming participation of electorates who took the voting percentage in Lok Sabha elections to 77.70% & Assembly polls to 82.95%.

I also salute the indomitable spirit of polling personnel, including women, and the security forces, who braved the inclement weather, tough terrains – from snow clad Himalayas to the rainforest foothills – to reach their respective booths to successfully conduct the polls in Arunachal Pradesh.

The task was enormous and it involved about 50,000 officials, who managed 2,226 polling stations. They ensured that booths with even one voter and 1000 electorates exercised their franchise.
My compliments to @ceoarunachal, who oversaw the polling process and ensured the logistics for these simultaneous elections in the State in a free and fair manner.
Congratulations to all involved!”
