Lok Sabha Polls 2024: Repoll in 11 polling stations in Manipur tomorrow

Repoll at these polling stations will be held tomorrow from 7 AM to 5 PM.
The Election Commission of India has announced repoll at as many as 11 polling stations in the Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency citing that voting held at these stations on April 19 as null and void.

The polling stations where re-polling will take place include:
Sajeb (Khurai Constituency)
Khurai Thongam Leikai (Khurai Constituency)
Bamon Kampu (North-A),(Kshetrigao Constituency)
Bamon Kampu (North-B),(Kshetrigao Constituency)
Bamon Kampu (South West),(Kshetrigao Constituency)
Bamon Kampu (South East),(Kshetrigao Constituency)
Khongman Zone V (A), (Thongju Constituency)
Iroishemba (Uripok Constituency)
Iroishemba Mamang Leikai (Uripok Constituency)
Iroishemba Mayai Leikai (Uripok Constituency)
Khaidem Makha (Konthoujam Constituency)
Chief Electoral Officer Pradeep Kumar Jha has urged all voters of the affected polling stations to come out in large numbers and exercise their franchise.
Earlier on Friday, polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Manipur was marred by violence with reports of miscreants vandalizing election equipments and even reports of firing at a polling station.
Polling was held for all the 32 assembly segments of Inner Manipur parliamentary seat on April 19.
