Arunachal CM practicing nepotism: Sitting BJP MLA Dorjee Wangdi Kharma

Sitting BJP MLA from Kalaktang, Dorjee Wangdi Kharma has leveled serious allegations against Pema Khandu, accusing the Chief Minister of practicing nepotism, while distributing party tickets for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Kharma accused Chief Minister Khandu of allegedly practicing nepotism while giving the party ticket for the Kalaktang Assembly constituency to Tseten Chombay Kee, who according to Kharma is Khandu’s cousin.

Kharma added that he had worked wholeheartedly for Kalaktang but was denied the BJP ticket.

MLA Kharma stated that the attack, which took place on his house in Kalaktang was conspiracy by CM Khandu.

The MLA further alleged that several houses and vehicles were reportedly damaged during the incident.
Earlier last evening, at least 7 security personnel and multiple civilian sustained injuries following a clash between supporters of sitting BJP MLA Dorjee Wangdi Kharma and BJP candidate Tseten Chombay.

The Incident took place at Tenga and Kalaktang in West Kameng district.

Meanwhile Police have registered 3 cases in connection to the incident at the Tenga and Kalaktang police station and investigation is on to identify and arrest the persons behind the violence.
